WHY DID YOU GET STARTED AT LIVEWELL?

I had just moved to Lexington from Chicago 6 months prior and loved my gym there but was having a hard time finding one here. When I saw LiveWELL promoted on Facebook, I decided to try it and I fell in love. I grew motivation and now love working out. I have changed my whole lifestyle, including diet to reflect the changes I am making at the gym and the results have been life changing.


WHAT MADE YOU STAY?

I loved that the gym and exercises were tailored with my goals in mind. I loved that I could see physical changes in my body and that others were too. I loved that I was able to perform my job better because I was getting stronger. The community, and trainers that were built at LiveWELL helped me to make new friends with similar goals.


HOW DID REACHING A GOAL MAKE YOU FEEL?

Being able to do a push up for the first time or go up in weight has made me feel empowered and motivated to keep going.


WHAT MAKES LIVEWELL DIFFERENT?

The atmosphere at LiveWELL is like a family. You build relationships with people and become a better version of yourself. The coaches are caring and thorough in every session. LiveWELL is somewhere I enjoy going and I am sad when I have to miss.

WHY DID YOU GET STARTED AT LIVEWELL?

I wanted a gym where I felt like a part of a team. I was previously a member of a gym where I felt unfulfilled and wasn’t seeing results. My weight had been climbing over the past couple of years, my diet was horrible and I felt tired all the time. I saw an ad on Facebook for LiveWELL and decided to look into it. It was one of my best fitness-related decisions I’ve ever made!

 

WHAT MADE YOU STAY?

I have achieved more at LiveWELL than I could have every imagined. From the start, the staff have helped set goals and prove that they are attainable. Success is measured here which is another wonderful attribute! Starting with a physical assessment, the staff then helped me set goals and designed a program made for me. The semi-private sessions helped me met those goals and achieve so much.

Everyone knows your name! I have never been to a gym with such an attentive and sincere staff. They learn your strengths and can help you overcome any obstacles. They are always encouraging and push you to meet your goals when you need that extra little nudge. They alone make my experience at LiveWELL amazing.

WHY DID YOU GET STARTED AT LIVEWELL?

I was referred by members/friends who thought I would enjoy it. I have always incorporated exercise into my routine; I have had other trainers and have been a member of a variety of workout facilities. Despite my efforts and theirs, I wasn’t quite getting the results I wanted.

 

WHAT MADE YOU STAY?

LiveWELL is visually appealing and orderly, and its members are extremely welcoming and encouraging. I was immediately impressed by the level of professionalism and personal attention I received. The trainers are both knowledgeable and engaging; their genuine interest in my success is what kept me coming back. Goal-setting has been instrumental in my success, and more importantly, setting obtainable goals. When I first started at LiveWell, I was highly motivated to lose weight and get in better shape. I met with Russ and he let me set my own goals and design my weekly workout schedule. I began working out 7 days a week and trying to follow a strict 1,200 calorie/day diet. My progress was slow and after the first few weeks, a small setback left me feeling overwhelmed and frustrated. I let other things take priority over my sessions, and I stopped attending regularly. Russ emailed to check on me and offer support, which is a testament to his dedication to his clients. His interest in my success encouraged me to get back on a routine, this time allowing him to design a plan for me. He made adjustments to my schedule and developed a more realistic plan. I was able to adhere to his suggestions and started having more success almost immediately. I’m not sure if it was intentional, but allowing me to try my plan first and letting it fail before telling me what to do was the perfect way to get me to listen. Russ also said things to me that made good sense. “If I wanted to lose 70 pounds…I probably didn’t gain it in 3 months…so I couldn’t expect to lose it that quickly.” I had to get past wanting fast results and realize this would take a change in my lifestyle and a lot of dedication. Once I accepted that, it seemed to take off some of the pressure…and everything started working together in a positive direction. I still have a ways to go, but I am proud of the progress I have made.

 

HOW DID REACHING A GOAL MAKE YOU FEEL?

In just over a year at LiveWELL, I have lost almost 60 pounds! I definitely have more energy and feel much stronger. It is satisfying to have a manageable system in place allowing me to work hard, but also have fun and maintain my busy lifestyle.

 

WHAT MAKES LIVEWELL DIFFERENT?

I attend 3-4 semi-private sessions and try to take one class per week. Impeccable notes are taken and communicated between trainers ensuring each workout is original and beneficial for me. The coaches emphasize correct form and provide specific, individualized feedback regarding progress and success. The coaches love what they do, making it a positive atmosphere for the members. This level of dedication is what makes LiveWELL unique.

 

WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS FOR THE FUTURE?

I am happy that I have found a place where I enjoy working out and where I am motivated to stay on a consistent regime. Reaching my goal weight remains a priority, coupled with sustaining a healthier lifestyle. I am thankful to LiveWELL for supporting me on my journey.

WHY DID YOU GET STARTED AT LIVEWELL?
I had been working out for several years off and on, but I did not feel
like I was making much progress. I had never worked with a personal
trainer but it sounded interesting. I had several friends who had started at
LiveWELL so I figured I would give it a shot.


WHAT MADE YOU STAY?
The first thing I noticed was the amount of attention that Russ and
the other trainers pay to each client. There is a lot of focus on proper
technique, as well as a training regimen that is tailored to each individual’s
goals. LiveWELL provides a great structure which makes it that much
more likely to achieve and maintain your objectives.


HOW DID REACHING A GOAL MAKE YOU FEEL?
With advice and encouragement from Russ, I changed my diet and saw
immediate results in weight loss and body fat loss. That felt great because
I had never experienced much success with that before Russ got involved.


WHAT MAKES LIVEWELL DIFFERENT?
The trainers make a point to get to know the clients, and to listen to what
we have to say and what we want to achieve. I have started to really look
forward to coming in and working with them.
